Join us in support of our city, local businesses and our beautiful community:

Visit the beautiful Grand Theater in Downtown Tracy!

According to Kathleen Masterson and Suzanne Leigh of UCSF, the idea of art as medicine dates back to antiquity, but recently the concept is drawing increasing interest from the medical and science communities.

Get your art on and go to the Grand!

Did you know Tracy has a library?!?

Reading with young children enhances brain development, and can build strong pathways in the brain which in turn builds language, literacy, and social-emotional skills that can have life-long health benefits. https://www.ssjcpl.org/

With massive information available at our fingertips, libraries also play an important roll in a community. It can be a social gathering place, an educational place and a support place.

In a society where the cost of living continues to rise, public libraries remain one of the few free spaces that provide public resources catering to the most diverse demographics: toddlers, people facing housing insecurity and unemployment, people with disabilities, students, senior citizens, educators, parents, and caregivers. In public libraries, no matter where you come from or your social-economic status, you can access countless resources and services. (PBS, NPR)

We at Tracy Cannabis Collective know cannabis can be a delicate issue for parents when it comes to their children. Here is a list of books that can help families have an educational and enjoyable reading experience when they feel the time has come for this conversation.

Another great place, for our senior community, is the Lolly Hansen Senior Center at 375 9th Street : https://www.cityoftracy.org/our-city/departments/parks-recreation-department/seniors
